to the studio early today to begin anew or so this feels
something has been lifted, released
not important what unknown has moved
but to step out
now
and return to the stillness and focus
of my studio space
this is part of the unexpected and in the folds of this Italian season.

I just had to see photos of my garden again. missing there.
the green varied oasis
wrapped in teal horizons
leaving my garden behind for three months gives me great longing to be there
